With the advent of omnibus breach reporting requirements around the globe, including under the GDPR and Japan’s APPI (among others), multinational corporations have been forced to expand their cyber-preparedness and response planning to meet a multiplicity of new requirements. This development raises important legal, business and logistical questions that can radically impact preparation and execution of global incident response planning and execution.
