This session examines two related issues: the challenges and potentials that privacy compliance vendors face in a world in which 120 countries (and counting) have different privacy statutes, and the challenges companies face in choosing among the nearly 300 technology vendors in the market. What kind of privacy compliance activities can different third party entities do best?  What can’t vendors do?  This session will offer practical examples from current privacy and security compliance issues, including privacy-by-design and data mapping exercises.
